how it all began

The year 1997 was remarkable in the life of his servant Sis. Mary as she came to know that without the Holy Spirit there is no spiritual growth. Then she began to seek the Lord earnestly for the anointing of the Holy Spirit.

One day, suddenly the Lord blessed Sis. Mary with His Mighty anointing. She felt a great fire coming upon her. At the same time, she was also blessed with the gift of Prophecy. Since then, the Lord began to speak and reveal His mysterious ways to her. God revealed that they would have to move from Visakhapatnam to Hyderabad to start their Ministry. Accordingly, the Lord enabled her to start it with a prayer cell in the same year.

In the very early stages of the ministry Sis. Mary and her family had to face a test when her sister was affected by a rare and incurable disease. The doctors had given her little chance to survive. She was hemmed in between the prayer cell and her sister's fragile health condition. While on one side, God was saving and strengthening many people through her by filling her with the Holy Spirit, on the other side her sister was almost on her death bed. But she did not lose heart but continued to pray unto the God of Gods and the King of Kings who has all the authority in heaven and on earth. Then after a long battle in prayer, the Lord worked a miracle and healed her sister mystifying the doctors.

In the year 2003, the Lord gave His grace to his servants Sis. Mary and Bro. Samuel to start Bethany House of Prayer, Hyderabad. Since then the Lord has been faithful to His promise. He has been leading them to share the Word of God and bring many to the saving knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The Lord equipped them to open two other branches in Moula Ali & Kondapur, Hyderabad. All glory to God!
